Keep it simple. Keep it metal.

Ozzy Osbourne’s “Back & Forth” 3 Part Video Interview Series

The three part video series featuring Ozzy Osbourne and his son Jack Osbourne as part of Noisey’s “Back & Forth” series are live now. I waited for the last one to drop, so I can have them all featured in one post. After you watch one you are hungry for the next one, because you always know interesting stuff come out from Ozzy Osbourne’s mouth. Sometimes it is just better to watch all parts in a row than separately, so here you have them, ready for your viewing pleasure.
Above is the first part and below you will find the second and the third part.

I decided I will not go into details, but I will highlight a few stuff from all three, because some things just have to be written down. You know Ozzy Osbourne never disappoints.
Jack: “If you can give your younger self some advice, what would you give the 21 year old Ozzy… What advice would you give you?”
Ozzy: “Don’t do drugs.”
Jack. “What about 30 year old Ozzy, what advice would you give him?”
Ozzy: “Take more drugs.”
Jack: “What’s the secret? How are you still rocking rolling as hard as you ere?”
Ozzy: “I honestly… I work out, I exercise a lot.”

Ozzy Osbourne: “Metal, or whatever you wanna call it has never had any rules.”

Jack: “Are you your own worst critics?”
Ozzy: “Absolutely.”
Jack: “I remember you picked up a guitar and you just started playing chords.”
Ozzy. “No, it can’t be.” (Is it just me, or did Ozzy became really shy (in a cute way) after this question?)

After Jack asked Ozzy Osbourne if having no anonymity, being heavy metal god as he is, bums him out, Ozzy responded the following.
“The truth of the matter is this. If I walked down the street and 200 people recognize me, I get pissed off. But at the same time, if they don’t recognize me, then I get pissed as well. So… It’s my ego, you know.”

I apologize if I wrote something wrong. Sometimes it’s really hard to understand Ozzy Osbourne’s words.
